Your Field Research and Interviews are due March 17th.  You must have 2 Field Research pieces and 2 Interviews.  Interviews can be conducted by telephone, email, blogs, or in person.  Field Research means you actually have to go somewhere.  You CANNOT put this one off until the last minute!!

Process Journal

By April 4th (when your paper is due) you must have posted at least five (5) entries for your process journal.  These blog entries simply need to contain information about the process and progress of your research and paper; tell me your successes, struggles, ideas, etc. They only need to be about 4-5 sentences each and please title them “Process Journal 1″, “Process Journal 2″, etc. From today, you have seven (7) weeks until the due date.  So post an entry on your blog at least once a week to tell me how things are coming along and you’ll have met your process journal requirement.

ON-LINE SOURCES DUE FEBRUARY 25th!

Your research paper’s on-line sources are due on Monday, February 25th. You will NOT have access to the Mobile labs in class that day so it is up to you to get them logged prior to the 25th or during some other part of the day on the 25th.  Your web evaluations MUST accompany your on-line sources. Your minimum requirement is 2 (two) on-line sources.  Again, ask questions if you have them, but DON’T wait until the last minute!

PRINT SOURCES Due Feb 11

Remember that your print sources are due by February 11.  Some of you may need to go to the county library for books or even use ILL.  You must have a minimum of two (2) print sources.  Proper MLA citations must accompany your sources! This information should be submitted through the “Schledewitz Classes–Spring 08″ shared folders. Under your name create a new folder titled “Research Paper” and put all your research information into this folder. If you have questions or need help ask, but DON’T wait until the day before it’s due!!!
